This year the WetPups U9 Rugby and Hockey teams will be playing for a cause bigger than just fulfilling a weekly fixture. This campaign will provide the boys a real life experience of how sport can be used to make a positive impact in society. The U9 Rugby and Hockey boys will be playing for the Grade R and Grade 1s at Primrose Park Primary School. The WetPups U9 boys, along with #SA Unite , would like to raise R30 500 so that they can build a Play Area and Jungle Gym. Currently, they do not have the infrastructure in the community and the sporadic violence prevents the children from playing in the parks.

Story
Hashtag SA Unite is a South African non-profit organization that provides emergency relief during times of disasters and crisis, and helps communities build resilience to cope with future disasters by providing food security, agriculture education and community support. #SAUnite tackles hunger by addressing its causes and improving systems that enable access to food. #SAUnite wishes to assist communities by establishing community gardens in order for them to become self-sustainable and have access to nutritious food. So far, Hashtag SA Unite has improved access to nutritious food for more than 750 000 people around South Africa. #SAUnite’s mission is to Love People, Show Kindness and Serve Change.
